Suncrest Supply, a distributor based in Palm Beach, Fla., has acquired a wood manufacturing plant in Kershaw, S.C., and will begin manufacturing custom wood flooring, walls, ceiling and furniture.
Suncrest Supply is using the facility to manufacture private label products for distributors, retailers and wood floor specialists. The company’s products are made for the “hand-crafted” market, and feature reclaimed wood in a number of textures.
“Customers are shopping for ‘unique,’ which is why they’re drawn to hand-crafted designs,” said Mike White, manufacturing manager, in a statement. “Many of our new products are lightly hand-carved and distressed, highlighting the natural characteristics of wood.”
Suncrest Supply will introduce its design capabilities and manufacturing services at the National Wood Flooring Association Expo in Phoenix in April.
