The flooring appears to be an engineered product on the outside. Inside, however, the boards were hollow. Within each board was about 4.5 pounds of meth. Police seized 70 boxes of the floorboards, totaling around 1,902 pounds of drugs.
It is the largest meth bust in Australian history, the report said. Two unidentified men have been arrested and face life in prison if found guilty.
Australian Prime Minister Malcom Turnbull congratulated the police on the drug bust.
"We will be ruthless in our efforts to stop the smuggling and the trafficking of this drug," Turnbull said in a statement from the Australian Federal Police.
