The wood flooring industry in Europe during the first quarter of 2017 experienced moderate growth, according to the European Federation of the Parquet Industry (FEP).
FEP observed positive growth in six member countries in the first quarter: Belgium saw a 4 percent increase in wood flooring consumption; Denmark consumption was up 1 percent; France, 3 percent; Netherlands, 4 percent; Norway, 1 percent; and Sweden, 3 percent.
Austria, Finland, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland wood flooring consumption remained the same.
No countries saw wood flooring consumption decrease.
