MFMA Now Accepting Scholarship Applications for 2017–18

The Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association is now accepting applications for five $1,000 scholarships that will go to students pursuing secondary, advanced or trade school education.

The scholarships are limited to students in particular areas of study, including architecture, athletic administration, construction sciences or management, exercise science and wood science, among a number of other fields listed on the application.

Along with the application, candidates must submit a 500-word essay, high school or college transcript and an acceptance letter indicating field of study.

Applications are due July 7. Winners will be notified by Sept. 1.

U.S. households earning $75,000 a year can afford only 21.2% of home listings as of March 2025—up from 20.8% in March 2024 and the largest gain of any income group, according to the National Association of Realtors.
