AkzoNobel (High Point, N.C.) added Terry Kindley to its Wood Coatings Color Design and Trends team in High Point, N.C.

Kindley has more than 35 years of experience in the industry. Most recently, he was with Valspar. His hiring will allow AkzoNobel to expand the types of designs it offers customers, the company said in a statement.

"Bringing top-level talent, such as Terry, on board demonstrates our commitment to hire the very best people—not just in North America, but around the world," said Bob Averett, global color marketing manager for the company’s wood coatings business.
