Hoy Lanning will stay at J.J. Haines and Company (Glen Burnie, Md.) as senior CEO advisor.
Lanning, the former chief sales and marketing officer for the CMH division, had originally planned to retire at the end of 2017 after helping Chris Pratt transition into the role. However, Lanning and the leadership team came to a mutual agreement for him to remain as part of the executive leadership team for the foreseeable future.
“I am delighted that Hoy has agreed to stay with us,” said current CEO Michael Barret in a statement. “His advice and experience are a key part of the success Haines has been having this year. He is a trusted advisor to me and someone I have tremendous respect for as both an industry leader and a person.”
