HPS Schönox (Florence, Ala.) announced the winners of its Worst Subfloor Contest, recognizing customers who used Schönox products to overcome challenges in repairing subfloors.
First prize, including $7,000 in Schönox dollars and a weekend in Las Vegas, went to Iowa Wall Sawing in Independence, Iowa, for a renovation of a room in a 100-year-old building:
Second prize, including $4,000 in Schönox dollars and an Apple Watch, went to Floorz Denver in Denver for a careful restoration of an oncology level at a hospital where the company could not make any noise to remove the old adhesives:
Third prize, including $1,000 in Schönox dollars and three Yeti coolers, went to Tim Hogan’s Carpet – Lakeland in Lakeland, Tenn., for its repair on a multilevel home where they dealt with existing plywood and concrete:
Honorable mentions went to Ceiling Carpet One in Fargo, N.D., and Vortex Commercial Flooring in Addison, Ill.
