For the fifth straight year, 3M (St. Paul, Minn.) has been recognized as a World’s Most Ethical Company by the Ethisphere Institute. Ethisphere evaluates companies in five categories: ethics and compliance program, citizenship and corporate responsibility, culture of ethics, governance, and leadership, innovation and reputation.
3M is one of 135 companies to be recognized with the honor in 2018.
“Our company maintains an unwavering commitment to ethics, and I am very proud of this acknowledgement from Ethisphere,” said Veena Lakkundi, 3M’s vice president and chief compliance officer in a statement. “At 3M, we achieve this when all of us at the company strive to live the 3M Code of Conduct. Our 91,000 employees have collectively won this award.”
