3M (St. Paul, Minn.) announced the formation of the Sustainability and Product Stewardship Organization, which will go into effect June 1 and will be designed to aid the company in bolstering its sustainability goals.
The organization will be spearheaded by the company’s Research & Development VP and new Chief Sustainability Officer Dr. Gayle Schueller.
“This new organization reflects the importance of our corporate sustainability function and will enable synergies across multiple product stewardship and environmental functions,” said Dr. John Banovetz, senior vice president and 3M Research & Development chief technology officer.
