The U.S. Green Building Council announced that seven-time Grammy Award winner Buddy Guy will perform at the 2018 Greenbuild Celebration Thursday, Nov. 15, at The Field Museum in Chicago from 7–11 p.m.
The Greenbuild International Conference and Expo is scheduled for Nov. 14–16 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
“Buddy Guy is a Chicago icon and the epitome of Southern blues; we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him join us this year at the celebration,” said Lindsay Roberts, group director of Informa Exhibitions, which is helping to organize the event.
Aside from his seven Grammys, Guy, 81, has received 37 Blues Music Awards, a Kennedy Center Honor and the Presidential National Medal of Arts.
