NAFCD Names 2019 Officers, Board Members

Steve McKenna of McKenna Distribution Ltd. (Regina, Saskatchewan) was named president.The North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD) announced its new leadership for 2019, naming Steve McKenna of McKenna Distribution Ltd. (Regina, Saskatchewan) president.

Dunn Rasbury of A&M Supply (Marietta, Ga.) will serve as president-elect and Shane Richmond of Fishman Flooring Solutions (Baltimore) was named vice president. Geoff Work of R.A. Siegel Co. (Mableton, Ga.) was appointed treasurer and David Powell of Erickson’s Flooring & Supply Co. (Ferndale, Mich.) will serve on the board as immediate past president.

"We are excited to see where this strong volunteer leadership team will take NAFCD in 2019," NAFCD Executive Vice President Kevin Gammonley said in a statement. "I am confident that this year's board of directors will continue to enhance NAFCD's membership value and overall mission."

Distributor directors in 2019 include David Schmelzer of Lanham Hardwood (Louisville, Ky.); Kyle Gorny of Blakely Products (Warren, Mich.); AJ Warne of Abraham Linc (Bridgeport, W.V.); Sven Johnson of Talga Building Products (Calgary, Alberta); and Dori J. Blitzstein of Roesel-Heck Company Inc. (Baltimore).

Supplier directors on the board include Russ Rogg of Metroflor Corporation (Norwalk, Conn.); Joe Cavanaugh of Tarkett (Salon, Ohio); Mike Croes of Sika USA (Lyndhurst, N.J.); Mark Johnson of Traxx Corporation (Pomona, Calif.); David Wallace of Precision Flooring Products (Morristown, Tenn.); and Jim Nielsen of FloorSource (Lafayette, Ga.).
