Graf and Robbins Engineered Wood Flooring Company to Launch

Graf and Robbins Flooring, a new engineered wood flooring manufacturer, announced it will begin production in May 2019.

The company’s manufacturing facility is located in Helenwood, Tenn., and includes a log yard, a quarter-sawing sawmill and dry kilns.

Graf and Robbins is headed by Damon Graf of Graf and Thomas Lumber (Vanceburg, Ky.), Terry Robbins of TM Hardwoods (Helenwood, Tenn.) and Sales Manager Jim Duke. The company is not affiliated with Graf Brothers Flooring (South Shore, Ky.), Graf Custom Hardwood (Portsmouth, Ohio) or Robbins Inc. (Cincinnati),

Its engineered flooring will be available in thicknesses of 5/8 inch and ¾ inch with lengths of 2–10 feet and 4–12 feet. It will offer rift-only, QTD-only, live-sawn and plain-sawn cuts in white oak, walnut, cherry and red oak. The flooring substrate is 9- or 11-ply Baltic birch plywood, the company says.
