WFB Briefs: HPS Schönox Named Fuse Vendor of the Year; IWF Honored

HPS Schönox (Florence, Ala.) was named Preferred Vendor of the Year by Fuse Alliance, a member-owned organization of commercial flooring contractors. It is the second year in a row the company has won the distinction.

The International Woodworking Fair (IWF) was named one of the “Fastest 50” growing trade shows in 2018 by Tradeshow Executive Magazine. IWF’s next show will take place Aug. 25–28, 2020, with registration opening January 2020.

Construction Job Openings Up 36% From a Year Ago

There were 305,000 construction job openings on the last day of June, a monthly increase of 14,000, and year-over-year increase of 81,000, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey.
