To begin, FCICA is offering CFI members a discount code for its “3 Days to CIM” event Oct. 12–14 in Atlanta. The program normally costs $1,670, but the code will save CFI members $345. Kährs Group announced it is committing to several sustainable development goals outlined by the United Nations. The goals will include using more sustainable internal transportation with fossil-free fuel, reducing energy use and securing sustainable sourcing of the company’s raw materials.
Construction spending in April remained unchanged compared with March at $1.29 trillion. Spending is down 1.2% compared with April 2018. Residential spending fell 0.5% from March, and nonresidential spending grew 0.3%. See the full report here.
