The Office of the United States Trade Representative is delaying implementation of the 25% tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese products, including hardwood flooring, until June 15.
The U.S.’s increase from 10% tariffs to 25% tariffs on the select goods from China, announced May 10, was originally set to take effect June 1.
“Covered products that were exported from China to the United States prior to May 10, 2019, will remain subject to an additional 10% tariff if they enter into the U.S. before June 15, 2019,” the USTR office stated.
