WFB Briefs: City Floor’s Basic Coatings Training; BASF MasterTop Gets Low VOC Certification

City Floor Supply (King of Prussia, Pa.) will hold a free training session on  Basic Coatings’ water-based HyperTone stains. The training will take place June 18 from 10 a.m.–noon at City Floor’s headquarters in King of Prussia, Pa. BASF’s (Southfield, Mich.) MasterTop 1327, a sound-deadening flooring system, was recently awarded M1 certification, the lowest VOC emissions classification under the Finnish Emission Classification of Building Materials. The product has also met requirements for LEED certification and several other environmental certifications in Germany and France.
