Galleher Acquires Aged Timber, Hires Greg Glasnow to Run Finishing Facility

Aged Timber Founder Greg Glasnow will now run Royal Custom Plank & Parquet.Galleher LLC (Santa Fe Springs, Calif.) has acquired the assets of Aged Timber (Sylmar, Calif.) and hired Aged Timber Founder Greg Glasnow to run its custom finishing facility, Royal Custom Plank & Parquet (RCP).

Glasnow, who founded Aged Timber in 2000, has more than 40 years of experience in the industry and a deep knowledge of high-end wood floor fabrication and finishing and building custom machinery, Galleher said. Aged Timber specialized in creating custom prefinished flooring.

“There are very few people on the planet with the level of finishing knowledge that Greg brings to the table,” said Danny Harrington, Galleher VP of marketing and product development, in a statement. “His experience with chemical staining, fuming, burning, and other specialty coloring techniques is unparalleled.”

Glasnow’s specialty manufacturing equipment for parquet, fuming, shou sugi ban and other processes will be added to RCP’s Phoenix facility, Galleher stated.
