Kährs Group (Malmö, Sweden) appointed Johan Magnusson president and CEO, effective Sept. 1. Magnusson previously held senior roles in global insulation companies.
“With a proven track record of leading and growing businesses in our sector, [Magnusson] has the capabilities required to drive exceptional business performance by creating strategic clarity, driving commercialization and customer focus, while ensuring disciplined execution,” Kährs Board Chairman Anders Wassberg said in a statement.
Magnusson replaces Christer Persson, who chose to leave after seven years at the helm to pursue other opportunities, according to a press release.
“The business is well-positioned to capture new opportunities, and I am confident that we have the team and resources to gain a greater foothold in our core European markets and beyond,” Magnusson stated. “I look forward to working with the Kährs team as we take the company to the next stage of development.”
