UBC Announces Leadership Changes

Following several retirements within its executive team, the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) announced the appointment of Frank Spencer as general VP and David Tharp as second general VP. Mike Capelli will take over as general secretary-treasurer of UBC and International Standards and Training Alliance (INSTALL) labor chair.

Mark McGriff will take over as Midwest district VP and Bill Waterkotte will assume the role of Eastern district VP.

The UCB stated it will continue to support INSTALL initiatives and programs, and will continue to play a role in training and certifying labor across 26 regional and district councils in the U.S. and Canada.
