George Kavetsos of Athens, Greece-based Wood Flooring Kavetsos was listening to his standard “motivation music” while running the big machine on a job when a bolt of inspiration struck: Why not put together a short music video of the work?
Kavetsos grabbed his gimbal, and he and his crew filmed some shots of themselves sanding the floor. Kavetsos then edited the video using an app on his smartphone. The project took just an hour to complete, and the effort earned the company nearly 2,500 views on Instagram.
“It’s like our work on wood flooring … the bigger the imagination is, the greater the result,” Kavetsos said in an email. Running a big machine might not seem the most musical of tasks from the outside, but that never fazed Kavetsos as he made it into one. “When you dance to your own rhythm,” he says in his post, “life taps its toes to your beat.”
