ProKnee to Transition to Distribution-Only Sales

ProKnee (Whitefield, Maine) announced it will end its direct-to-consumer sales and transition to distribution-only retail sales. The company expects the transition to be completed by Jan. 1, 2020.

“The decision was made in large part due to the excellent success our current distribution partners have made over the many years in their sales efforts and support of the ProKnee brand of products,” the company said in a statement.

The company has sold its products directly to consumers since it was founded in 1989. Its website will cease processing sales following the change and will be updated to be used as an information-based portal for customers and distributors.

“As we transition to distributor-only sales, our newly formed sales team will be able to accommodate many distributors’ requests to attend their yearly open houses and customer appreciation days and other special events,” the company added.

The company said it is currently looking to grow its distribution network and expand into new territories.

“We see this as a financial opportunity for our distributor partners, allowing them to do what they do best—which in turn allows us to focus on what we do best––manufacture,” the company stated.

ProKnee said it will continue to honor its 30-day money back 100% satisfaction guarantee following the transition to distribution-only sales.
