Chem-Dry Expands Cleaning Services to Include Wood Floors

Chem-Dry, a carpet and upholstery cleaning franchise, announced it has broadened its cleaning services to include hardwood floors.

Its new wood floor cleaning process “combines cleaning, sanitizing and polishing” for both solid and engineered hardwood flooring as well as LVT. The service includes an inspection; polish and acrylic coating removal; a deep cleaning; and application of “wood floor polish,” according to its website. The site did not specify which products are used, but the company said it offers green-certified products in its cleaning services.

“Overall, the cleaning service helps to eliminate dirt, grime, allergens from pet and pollen, smoke, and bacteria from surfaces while also preventing further damage and protecting the investment in wood floors,” Chem-Dry stated.

The company has a network spanning more than 55 countries and serves more than 11,000 homes a day worldwide.
