Flooring Pro Paralyzed After Heavy Equipment Falls on Him, GoFundMe Started

A Manahawkin, N.J.-based flooring business owner was left paralyzed from the waist down after heavy equipment fell on him Oct. 30 and broke his back, Patch reports.

Okan “Ozzie” Zenger, who owns C&K Floor Covering and Zenger Flooring Supply, underwent spine surgery after the accident to have screws inserted to hold his spine together, according to the report. He is expected to spend at least another month at the Kessler Institute of Rehabilitation.

A GoFundMe was started to help the family with medical expenses as Zenger continues his recovery.
