The company, which held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in late November, said the newly expanded facility is the largest prefinished hardwood flooring plant in the country.
“This is a great development for AHF Products because it allows us to grow our capabilities at this plant and continue to be a major contributor to the economy of this region,” AHF Plant Manager Blaine Emery said in a statement. The new space increases manufacturing capacity.
The plant formerly belonged to Armstrong Flooring, which sold all of its hardwood flooring segments to a private equity firm last year. AHF Products was formed soon after.
“On Jan. 1 of this year, we’ll celebrate our first anniversary since the carve-out and split from Armstrong Flooring, and what a year it’s been,” AHF Products President and CEO Brian Carson stated. “Next year is going to be a year of growth for us.”
