It’s important for wood floor pros to be social distancing right now, but it’s also important to keep a sense of humor. To that end, there’s Jim Hyde’s “social distance enforcer.” It appears to be a fake hand stuck to a pole and is designed to keep people the appropriate 6 feet away (or at least keep them laughing until you can scoot yourself).
“Tired of people invading your personal space, grab a handy social distance enforcer!” Hyde’s “ad” on WFB’s Buy/Sell/Trade Facebook Group reads. “Keep you and your family safe!”
At $20, it’s a bargain, so don’t approach him with a lower offer (in fact, don’t approach him at all).
All Things Wood Floor, created by Wood Floor Business magazine, talks to interesting wood flooring pros to share knowledge, stories and tips on everything to do with wood flooring, from installation, sanding and finishing to business management.
