CCA Global Partners will transition its 2020 summer flooring conventions to a virtual format in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
“CCA feels this will be the best way to continue to provide members with important updates, training and buying opportunities,” the cooperative stated.
The virtual event will take place the week of Aug. 10, as originally planned. CCA said it is still working out the details of transforming the event to an online format, but expects many of the mainstays of its annual event to remain, including hosting a general session, keynotes and training sessions.
“Many of our members have already had to make hard decisions in their businesses and will continue to deal with hardship as businesses are closed and our economy takes a hit,” stated Rick Bennet, Co-CEO of CCA Global Partners. “The switch to a virtual convention will give our members more time to recover from these hardships and open up the convention opportunity to more of our retailers that will need all the benefits CCA has to offer.”
CCA is a privately held cooperative that includes Carpet One Floor & Home, ProSource, Flooring America and Flooring Canada, Floor Trader, and the International Design Guild.
