Mohawk Brings CFO Frank Boykin Out of Retirement to Help Navigate COVID-19 Crisis

Mohawk Industries (Calhoun, Ga.) announced it has hired Frank Boykin as CFO.

Boykin worked with Mohawk for 25 years before retiring as CFO in 2019. He continued working as a senior consultant for the company over the past year. Glenn Landau, who took over as CFO following Boykin’s retirement last year, left the company April 15.

“I have asked Frank to resume the responsibilities of chief financial officer because his knowledge of all aspects of our business and the industry is a great asset to us in this environment,” Mohawk Chairman and CEO Jeff Lorberbaum said in a statement.

“I’m pleased to return to Mohawk to help the business navigate through these challenging times,” Boykin said in a statement. “In my consulting role I’ve maintained close ties to the business and am ready to step in immediately. I look forward to rejoining our outstanding finance team and working with the leadership team to manage the initiatives to help us thrive when we emerge from the current downturn.”
