IWF Plans to Continue to Hold In-Person Show in August; New Guidelines Will be Followed

The International Woodworking Fair (IWF) announced it will continue with plans to host the trade show Aug. 25–28 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Several industry trade shows this year have been canceled or held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. IWF organizers stated they are confident they can adapt the in-person show to meet state guidelines by the time of the show, and they are working closely with the Georgia World Congress Center to do so.

“Our close collaboration also extends to all show partners and vendors, which continue to follow a rigorous safety regimen,” IWF organizers said in a statement. “We will continue to adjust the show plan over the next four months as new guidance comes out and conditions inevitably change.”

Organizers stated the show will look different from prior years due to the precautions.

“We are all committed to minimizing risk. We are working together with our attendees, exhibitors, partners and vendors to follow all precautions governing safe business conduct,” organizers added.
