New App Connects High School Students with Skilled Trade Opportunities

5 18 Ccp App 1An app launched this month by the Construction Careers Foundation aims to connect high school students with construction trades apprenticeships, the StarTribune reports.

Sarah Lechowich, senior director of the St. Paul-based nonprofit, told the StarTribune the app helps to demystify the process of finding construction apprenticeships and sends notifications based on the user’s career interests, location and educational background.

The app, titled simply “Construction Trades,” is free and available to download on Apple and Google Play app stores. More info can be found on the foundation’s website here.
