Clarkson has worked in the flooring industry for 30 years and has held a number of positions at the company since joining in 2003. He most recently served as DriTac’s senior VP––sales.
“David is a very strong leader with exceptional organizational skills,” DriTac Board of Directors members Yale and Myrna Block said in a joint statement. “He has the unique ability to understand the most important requirements of our customers and develop strategically derived programs to meet those needs, while elevating the overall level of performance to consistently achieve successful results for and with our business partners.
“We are extremely delighted to have him take the day-to-day reins of our company and have absolute trust in his skill and integrity as our leader,” they added.
Clarkson served in the U.S. Army Reserve for nearly 35 years before retiring in 2017 with the rank of major general.
