In lieu of hosting its biennial Shaw Flooring Network Convention in-person, Shaw Industries will host a virtual convention series beginning Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. EST.
The SFN Convention was originally scheduled for January 2021 in Orlando, Fla.
“The challenges of 2020 have forced us to think differently and explore new ways to experience the SFN Convention,” SFN VP Danny Crutchfield said in a statement. “We decided not to gather in Orlando in 2021 to ensure the safety of our customers and their families, but we’re committed to maintaining the spirit of the event in an entirely new way.”
The Sept. 1 kick-off event will feature former Navy Seal and best-selling author Jocko Willink as a guest speaker.
Additional 90-minute virtual events are being planned for October and November, with more slated for January 2021.
