Home prices increased 4.8% year-over-year in July, up from an annual increase of 4.3% in June, the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Index reports.
The 10-City Composite annual increase was 3.3% for the month (up from 2.8% in June), and the 20-City Composite grew 3.9% year-over-year (up from 3.5% in June).
Phoenix, Seattle and Charlotte reported the highest gains year-over-year, increasing 9.2%, 7.0% and 6.0%, respectively.
