The World Floor Covering Association, in conjunction with CCA Global Partners, appointed Jim Aaron executive director of the Floor Covering Education Foundation (FCEF).
FCEF was formed in late 2019 with a goal of helping to fund training for floor covering installers to address the ongoing installer shortages in the industry. Aaron has worked for CCA, a privately held cooperative of flooring businesses, since 2004. He will take over at FCEF in mid-February.
“We are pleased and excited to be able to fill this new position with Jim Aaaron,” WFCA CEO Scott Humphrey said in a statement. “Jim has worked in the industry all of his career, has a deep knowledge and is widely respected. He’ll be a tremendous asset as we continue our commitment to solve the installation crisis.”
