Makita announced it has purchased 80 acres of land northeast of Atlanta as part of its expansion plan in the U.S. “Business continues to grow, and we are continuing to invest in the future,” the company stated.
Mohawk Industries was ranked as a top learning and development organization in Training magazine’s annual Top 100 rankings. Mohawk ranked 50th on the list. It is the company’s 13th time being featured on the list.
The U.S. Green Building Council announced the Top 10 States for LEED green building in 2020 based on certified square feet per capita. In descending order, they are: Massachusetts, Washington, Illinois, Colorado, New York, Maryland, California, Virginia, Texas and Nevada.
