Calling All Wood Floor Tool Aficionados: More Info on ‘American Sanderplane’ Sought

Have you ever heard of the American Sanderplane?

A reader on the WFB Forum is looking for more information about this mysterious vintage sanding machine. 

“Only info I could find on a Sanderplane was for one patented in August 1937,” the poster, David Wilson, writes. However, Wilson says the patent he discovered is different from his vertical-motorized tool, which is cast with a “patent pending.”
