WFB Briefs: German Wood Floor Sales Up; FCEF Announces Board Appointments

The German wood floor industry had a boost in sales in 2020, rising 7.4% for the year to around 253 million euros ($301.58 million USD), according to Fordaq. The amount of wood flooring sold increased 3% to around 8.7 million square meters (93.6 million square feet).

The Floor Covering Education Foundation appointed Don Roberts board chair and added Piet Dossche to its board of directors. Roberts succeeds World Floor Covering Association President and CEO Scott Humphrey in the role, and the appointment of Dossche brings the number of board members to 15.
