Mohawk Industries (Calhoun, Ga.) partnered with state and local government and public health officials to organize on-site COVID-19 vaccination events for employees in Northwest Georgia, the Calhoun Times reports.
The company was able to vaccinate more than 1,200 team members and registered 2,000 more for vaccinations, according to the report.
“I’m very proud of the impact that this will have at Mohawk and in the community,” said Rod Wedemeier, senior VP, human resources at Mohawk.
The company has additional vaccination events for employees in the works.
