Sherwin-Williams’ Colormix trend forecast for 2022 features colors that highlight the characteristics of wood.

The company’s Global Color and Design Center named the forecast “MODE,” an acronym for the four collections within the forecast, including Method, Opus, Dreamland and Ephemera.

The trend forecast is “heavily influenced by nature,” the company said.

“The elegantly refined accents and soft, grounding bases found in MODE lend a combination of nature and nurture to wood product design,” stated Lauren West, Sherwin-Williams’ Global Color and Design director.

West will host a webinar Nov. 3 at noon EST discussing the inspiration and influences behind the trends. Registration for the webinar can be found here.
