MAPEI Breaks Ground for Powder Production Plant

MAPEI broke ground on a 50,750-square-foot powder production plant and distribution facility in Laval, Quebec.

The expansion will complement an existing 128,000-square-foot facility, which also serves as the company’s head office. The groundbreaking for the new facility took place Oct. 21.

“The existing facility has proven to be such a tremendous asset in providing us with manufacturing and warehousing for Eastern Canada, and this expansion will greatly increase our ability to meet our customers’ demands in those areas,” stated Luigi Di Geso, president and CEO of MAPEI North America.

The project is on an 18-month timeline for completion.
