The International Surface Event announced it is moving forward with plans for its in-person show Feb. 1–3 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The announcement that the trade show would continue as planned was made amid surging cases of COVID-19. Organizers said the event will follow all local health guidelines to create a safe event, including Nevada’s mandate that masks be worn in all public indoor places, regardless of vaccination status. TISE will also have hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue and widen aisles on the show floor for physical distancing.
“Our community is eager to reconnect, with new attendees and exhibitors registering every day, and we are committed to providing that important platform for them,” organizers stated.
TISE, one of the largest flooring industry trade shows, was forced to reschedule its 2021 show due to the pandemic. It held its first major in-person event since the beginning of the pandemic in June last year.
