Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor announced it had to postpone its event due to a rise in COVID-19 in cases Shenzhen, China.
Organizers of the floor covering trade show, originally scheduled for Aug. 31–Sept. 2 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, said they received an emergency notice Aug. 30 from the district’s Bureau of Commerce requesting they postpone the event’s opening due to the rising COVID-19 cases.
“The exhibition will be allowed to resume once the epidemic situation in the area is stabilized following the prevention and epidemic control measures,” organizers stated.
A new schedule for the event will be announced at a later date.
“Although we, our exhibitors and partners have done a lot of preparatory work in the last few months, we have to face the current situation and suspend our activities,” organizers added. “We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience this brings and sincerely hope we will be in a position to share more positive news very soon.”
