The Institute for Floor Covering Inspectors International (IFCII) is offering advanced wood, tile and stone certification training Oct. 19–22 both virtually and in-person in Norcross, Ga., at 1856 Corporate Drive, Suite 100. The class is $895 (wood-only is $650) and the exam is $300. The training will focus on wood characteristics, natural flaws, installation issues and more. Registration can be found here.
The Floor Educational Guild will host two virtual moisture meter classes Nov. 10, one led by Tramex Meters and one led by Delmhorst Meters. The Tramex Meters class starts at 9:30 a.m. and covers moisture-testing concrete and interpreting numbers for accurate reports. The Delmhorst Meters class will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will cover the basic science behind moisture meters. Registration is $25 and can be found here.
