U.S. Hardwood Flooring Imports Drop 27% Year-Over-Year in November

U.S. hardwood flooring imports declined 27% year-over-year in November, ITTO reported.

The imports were impacted by a 66% decline in hardwood flooring from Brazil and a 23% slide in imports from Malaysia.

Despite November declines, year-to-date imports of hardwood flooring remained ahead of 2021 by 8%.

Imports from Indonesia in November rose 33% to top $1 million for the first time since 2016. Year-to-date, hardwood flooring imports from Indonesia nearly tripled its 2021 totals.

Engineered wood flooring imports slid 3% from October and 17% compared with November 2021.
