Domotex Hannover announced a new model for its annual trade show that will rotate between all flooring surfaces and exclusively soft flooring surfaces.
In even-numbered years, organizers will host “Domotex—Home of Flooring,” featuring hard floor coverings and related goods, including carpets and rugs.
For odd-numbered years, “Domotex—Carpets & Rugs” will showcase only hand-made carpets and machine-made carpets and rugs.
“Numerous exchanges with our exhibitors and the market have shown that the ‘Carpet & Rugs’ and ‘Flooring’ segments have different needs in terms of the frequency of Domotex,” organizers said in a statement. “Therefore, both worlds will be brought together at the Hanover location in the future in a model with rotating focuses.”
The established January date trade show will remain in place.
