Bostik Inc. announced it will partner with the National Flooring Contractors Apprenticeship Program (NFCAP) to help train flooring contractors around the country.
NFCAP, spearheaded by wood floor pro Carlos Mongalo, was launched in 2020 and offers an apprenticeship agenda registered with the Department of Labor. It has access to over 200 campuses nationwide, where students receive a certified eight-week pre-apprenticeship training program. It has also partnered with the Certified Flooring Installers, National Association of Floor Covering Technicians, National Wood Flooring Association and National Tile Contractors Association to assist in placing apprentices.
“Bostik is always on the lookout to aid in apprenticeship training programs,” stated Robert Williams, national sales manager/national accounts at Bostik USA. “And we see this opportunity to partner with NFCAP as being a total win-win situation.”
