Sika announced the launch of its STEP Series flooring installation solution training curriculum.

STEP, which stands for Sika Technical Education Program, is a year-long, in-person training clinic designed to educate contractors and installers about best practices for using the Sika Secure System.

The series will focus on flooring installation solutions and industry standards relating to subfloor surface preparation, moisture mitigation, acoustical abatement and wood and resilient flooring adhesives.

The program will include one-day events conducted regionally across the U.S. and will run throughout the rest of 2023.

Registration for a STEP Series training course can be found at this link.

The courses will include all the required installation materials and tools, as well as a lunch provided by Sika. Installers who complete the training will receive a Certificate of Training Completion from Sika Corporation.

“Our goal with the STEP Series is to utilize the expertise of our technical team to best equip contractors and installers with the technical know-how to consistently achieve successful flooring installations,” stated Andreas Eisenmann, technical service manager, interior finishing at Sika Corporation. “In doing so, we plan to provide attendees with the proper vocational tools that will allow them to realize the advanced benefits of the Sika Secure System, which will in turn put them in the best possible position to succeed.”
