Fishman Flooring Solutions (Baltimore, Md.) increased the warehouse space at its Columbus, Ohio, location from 20,000 square feet to 40,000 square feet.
The growth was to accommodate increasing market demand.
“Doubling our warehouse space in Columbus increases our capacity to stock and ship products, which will result in faster delivery times and greater availability of the products we sell,” Fishman VP Shane Richmond said in a statement. “It also allows us to have more flexibility in managing inventory levels, especially flooring products. In the end, the real beneficiaries of the warehouse expansion are our customers, who will have greater access to the products they need when they need them from us.”
Fishman has been making upgrades to its facilities over the past six years, including increasing space at its Baltimore headquarters and relocating its Charlotte, N.C., and Raleigh, N.C. branches to larger buildings.
The company has 39 branches and does business in 15 states and D.C.
