Existing U.S. antidumping and countervailing duties on engineered wood flooring from China will remain in place for another five years, the U.S. International Trade Commission announced.
The duties were subjected to a mandatory five-year sunset review by the USITC, which voted unanimously to continue the duties June 8.
âThis is a critical development for the industry, which has been fighting unfair imports from China for years,â Keith Christman, president of the Decorative Hardwoods Association, said in a statement. âThis comes about a month after a similar ruling on hardwood plywood.â
