U.S. Hardwood Flooring Imports Fell 12% in November

U.S. imports of hardwood flooring declined 12% in November, with imports declining from nearly all trading partners, according to ITTO.

Brazil was one of the few hardwood flooring importers with an increase, with imports surging 170%. Imports from Indonesia and China declined 48% and 59%, respectively.

Compared with November 2022, however, overall hardwood flooring imports in the U.S. were up 6%.

Imports of engineered wood flooring rose 6% in November and were up 2% compared with November 2022.
