Houzz: Construction Sector ‘Much More Optimistic’ in Q1 2024

The construction sector reported a more positive outlook for 2024 in a Q1 2024 Construction Sector Barometer survey conducted by Houzz.

The survey’s expected business activity indicator increased to 57, 10 points higher than the fourth quarter of 2023.

“Build-only firms are much more optimistic than last quarter,” according to Houzz. “Design-Build remodelers also anticipate higher activity than the previous quarter.”
